The Impressive Story Of The Teenager Revolutionizing The Management System Of The Legal Industry

At just 17, Jesse Ding is living the American dream by rising above the age barriers in the corporate ecosystem to establish a full-fledged management company transforming the management system of the legal industry. His company Omicrown, serves as a link between top lawyers and their target audience.

Currently, he is studying at Stuyvesant High School, one of the top high schools in New York. During his freshman year in 2020, he gained employment as an intern with Demidchik Law Firm, PLLC. This experience exposed him to the management and digital gaps in the legal industry. "I realized their online presence when it comes to social media, wasn't the best. I asked if I could step in and help manage their social media accounts as well as the Google Ads account, and that's when I got even more experience with marketing." Jesse Ding, CEO and founder of Omicrown stated.

After a short while, he found out the digital advertisement was creating a significant financial and branding impact on the firm. This development inspired him to go a step further and render this service to other lawyers outside the firm by starting his own company. Gradually, he started taking mental notes on how to run a company by learning about the operational processes at the firm and carrying out external research.

Reflecting on this, Jesse Ding stated "Although, working at the law firm gave me the practical knowledge of how to run a company, I want to learn more. I remember buying a textbook online on 'How to run a business.' I was intentional about creating time to teach myself about all the aspects of running a business. Through that process, I learnt the logistics of how to onboard someone, health insurance, liability, and other helpful details."

At the age of 16, Jesse established Omicrown in June 2021. He rented an office space at the One World Trade Center in New York City and hired his first few staff members. Their team consists of 10 highly skilled full-time staff from diverse backgrounds, with some of them working remotely and others in-person at their physical offices.

Despite its successful run, Omicrown faced some regulatory challenges at the start. "I didn't know all the regulations when it comes to running a business. I remember one really silly mistake I made was that I didn't realize I needed this certain kind of insurance, and I remember getting slapped with this big fine in the beginning." However, the company has risen above those initial hurdles and is thriving.

Under Jesse Ding's leadership, Omicrown has successfully grown beyond his expectations within one year. A new branch has been opened in California and they intend to have branches in other states across the USA, starting with Texas. This expansion goal is centered on catering to the distinct needs of the legal industry in each state, as they all have different laws governing them. They also plan to offer their robust services to the medical, real estate and accounting industries.

Proving that you can achieve anything when you set your mind to it, Jesse Ding has skillfully balanced his time between studying at high school and running his company, Omicrown. Reflecting on his successful Journey, Jesse Ding said, "Starting my company wasn't smooth sailing at the beginning because I didn't know what I was really doing at first, but I'm proud of how far we've come in a short while. We are growing at a record pace and aim to keep delivering quality service to our clients and registered experts. I also hope to inspire the younger generation and show them through my journey that if you have the ambition to build something, just go for it and take the risk while you're still young."
